Lymph is the ‘garbage collector’ of your body. It relies on breathing and body movement to pump it around and clear it from our system. Sometimes it becomes stagnant leaving us feeling lethargic and congested.
Developed by Dr. Bruno Chikly this form of
Lymphatic Drainage relies on the practitioner palpating the lymph flow in the body and either encouraging its flow through normal pathways or helping it to find its own route if these no longer exist.
This treatment is particularly indicated after any soft tissue injury, surgery or if you have the feeling your body is literally clogged up.
At
Finland Steam Baths
this treatment is usually done in combination with other modalities if indicated.
N.B. The therapists are not trained in the treatment of Lymphedema.
